The Mandatory 2-Hour Emotion Pause and Chat Authorization Ban
In high-stress operational crises, managers often send reactive, emotionally charged emails or quick chat messages that trigger workplace freezes and damage cross-departmental trust. Middle management must enforce a mandatory 120-Minute Hold Rule for any critical email that names specific departments or personnel. The sender must hold the draft for two hours, delete all subjective adjectives and personal blame words, and rewrite the message containing only objective timestamps, asset codes, financial impacts, and binary resolution options.
Furthermore, instant messaging applications such as Zalo, Teams, or Slack are legally and operationally barred from serving as authorization channels for equipment modifications, schedule adjustments, or financial spend approvals. Any urgent floor instruction transmitted via chat must be formally transferred into the central tracking system or a signed workstation log within sixty minutes.
